Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Richmond, VA (23231). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance safety.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
