In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that keeps our store running smoothly—helping customers with their shipping needs, handling transactions, restocking merchandise, and keeping things clean and organized. Most importantly, you’ll help create a welcoming space where every customer leaves with a smile!

We need someone with flexibility in their schedule who can also work at least one Saturday a month. If you're eager to learn, love working with people, and are ready to be part of a fun and energetic team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.

• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

2. Sales and Transactions:

• Operate cash registers and handle cash, check, and credit card transactions.

• Ensure accuracy in processing sales and returns.

• Promote products to customers.

3. Merchandising and Inventory:

• Restock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a neat and attractive appearance.

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.

• Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries.

4. Store Maintenance:

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and trash removal.

• Assist in setting up and dismantling promotional displays.

5. Operational Support:

• Assist in opening and closing the store.

• Follow all store and shipping policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

• Support the Store Manager in implementing store promotions and events.

6. Technology and Systems:

• Use POS systems and other store technology efficiently.

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the Store Manager.

• Assist with inventory management software as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Intermediate skill level in MS Office products.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time position with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of packages and materials that are 20 pounds or more.

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed.
