Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a well-respected national home health agency to hire a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract role in Danville, VA . Contract Details:

• Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing
• Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
• Location: Danville, VA , and surrounding areas
• Position Type: Full-time, 13-week contract
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with occasional weekends and on-call duty typically once per month)
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k available after 90 days of employment, weekly pay
• Mileage: .48c mileage reimbursement visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
• Productivity: 25 per week

Requirements:

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN)license
• Active American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required
• Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase software required
• Oasis Certified strongly preferred, but not required

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and patient education, based on established protocols and physician orders
• Perform regular patient visits to monitor health status, assess progress, and address any changes or concerns
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, self-care techniques, and safety precautions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and best practices in home health care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
