Seeking CT Technologist – For a Virgina Heath System just outside of D.C.

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | Contract

Shifts: Multiple shifts available, Monday - Thursday, 9p – 7:30A (Nights – 4 / 10’s). Friday - Sunday, 7p – 7:30A (Nights – 3 / 12’s) No Weekends

Prefer perm fulltime applicants but will consider Temp to perm or Temp

An ideal candidate will be patient oriented and quality driven. The group is seeking team players that like to work in harmony to achieve division goals and customer satisfaction.

As a member that supports the ED (Emergency Department) you will play a critical role in rapidly diagnosing patients who present with acute or life-threatening conditions. Most of the cases will be general studies and some Vascular. You will be Operate both CT / X-Ray scanners per physician orders. (portable and fixed stations)

Qualifications:

·         Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program

·         ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certified (or CT certification within 1 year of hire)

·         Virginia Radiologic Technologist license (application must be submitted before hire)

·         BLS certification (AHA – Healthcare Provider level)

·         2+ years of experience working as a CT / X-Ray Tech (Preferred)

·         Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and medical terminology

·         Ability to work independently under pressure and in high-acuity settings

Additional Skills We Value:

·         Knowledge working with CT / GE Revolution 64 and X-Ray GE 640 Standard

·         Experience with all patient age groups

·         High level of accuracy in positioning and imaging techniques

·         Proficiency with computer systems and imaging technology

·         Commitment to excellence, safety, and patient-centered care

·         Proficiency working with CT GE Revolution EVO 64 CT Scanner / X-Ray GE 640 Standard and Portable. (Prefered)
