CT Tech (Computed Tomography)

What Youll Do:

• Operate CT and X-Ray scanners (fixed and portable) per physician orders
• Support the Emergency Department , rapidly imaging patients with acute or life-threatening conditions
• Perform general studies and some vascular imaging
• Collaborate with a team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certified, or CT certification within 1 year of hire
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license (application submitted before hire)
• BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• 2+ years CT/X-Ray experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and medical terminology
• Ability to work independently in high-acuity environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GE Revolution 64 CT and GE 640 X-Ray Standard / Portable
• Skilled with all patient age groups
• High accuracy in positioning and imaging techniques
• Proficiency with imaging software and computer systems
• Commitment to patient-centered care and workplace safety
