Travel Coordinator, Junior
CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Travel Coordinator within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The Travel Coordinator plans and manages all aspects of travel arrangements for individuals or groups, ensuring smooth logistics and adherence to budgets. Key responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for travelers before, during, and after their trips to handle any issues that arise. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail and knowledge of travel trends and company policies.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Scheduling and Logistics: Manage project schedules, coordinate meeting logistics, and ensure team members have the necessary resources.
• Communication & Coordination: Serve as a point of contact between project teams, stakeholders, and project managers, facilitating communication and distributing updates.
• Documentation: Maintain travel requests, authorization workflows, records, documents, and files, and ensure all materials are up-to-date and properly stored.
• Reporting: Track project progress, monitor budgets and expenditures, and prepare status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
• Administrative Support: Assist project managers with various administrative tasks, such as ordering equipment, compiling documents, and supporting project planning.
• Risk and Issue Management: Help identify and track project risks and issues, and contribute to developing solutions. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 0 to 2 years of experience
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain organized records.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey information to diverse groups.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying challenges and developing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to handling documents, data, and project details.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000.00 - $200000.00.
