Job Title: Barista / Cashier

Work Location: In Person

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (No weekends)

Compensation: 40 hours per week guaranteed

We are looking for a punctual, energetic, and customer-focused Barista / Cashier to join our morning team. If you love crafting great coffee, creating a welcoming environment for morning commuters, and having your afternoons and weekends completely free, this is the perfect role for you. We offer a guaranteed 40-hour work week in a fast-paced, friendly cafe setting.

• Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, coffees, and teas, following our quality standards.

• Customer Service: Greet every customer warmly, take orders accurately, and answer any questions about the menu.

• Cash Handling: Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, and digital payments quickly and accurately.

• Opening Procedures: Arrive promptly at 6:00 AM to set up the espresso machine, brew morning coffee, and prepare the pastry case for the daily rush.

• Maintenance & Cleaning: Keep the service counter, dining area, and equipment spotless throughout the shift and complete daily cleaning tasks.

• Restocking: Ensure cups, lids, syrups, beans, and other essential supplies are fully stocked during downtime.

• Schedule Availability: Must be able to commit to the Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule without exception.

• Experience: Previous experience as a barista or cashier is highly preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a great attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Reliability: Exceptional punctuality is required for this early-morning role.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., milk jugs, coffee bean bags).
