Seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Hampton, VA, with a focus on retail and long-term care settings. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work a standard weekday schedule and contribute meaningfully to patient care and medication management.
Location: Hampton, VA
Job Type: Contract (8+ weeks)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other licensed practitioners
- Provide clear, knowledgeable information to customers regarding medication use and safety
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Pharmacist License
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
