Software Engineer
We have immediate, fully funded openings for 6 Software Developers and 1 Systems Engineer with an active Full Scope Poly clearance in Herndon, VA .
The team shall consist of developers that have professional work experience with cloud technologies and application development. The team shall, at a minimum, possess the following experience:
- Sponsors cloud environment services
- Object oriented programming
- Jenkins
- Configuration Management tools
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and ability to engineer within an agile framework
- Familiarity with Git and JIRA
Here is a snapshot of the desired experience/skills:
- Engineers that have professional work experience with HCI platforms, automation, documentation creation, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with multiple hypervisors, to include VMWare, Hyper-V, and AHV.
- HCI platform deployments, transitions from legacy platforms, and sustainment maintenance/administration (preferably with Nutanix).
- Experience or familiarity with implementing globally-dispersed hosting platforms across network-constrained environments.
- Ability to systematically analyze environmental variables and determine optimal architectures for platform services.
- Cloud technology (preferably with Amazon Web Services). Experience with Sponsor’s cloud environment services.
- Configuration Management tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and ability to engineer within an Agile framework.
- Familiarity with Git and JIRA tools.
- Object oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Jenkins.
