- Supervise children during before- and after-school program hours and full-day summer sessions
- Attend and monitor students on field trips, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and activity space
- Guide and support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Encourage participation, creativity, and positive peer interactions
- Follow program schedules, routines, and licensing guidelines
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student needs and progress
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and preparation of daily activities and materials
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience
- Previous experience working with school-age children in a classroom, childcare, or camp setting preferred
- Ability to supervise and ensure the safety of children in both classroom and field trip environments
- Strong communication skills and basic computer skills
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Valid driver’s license with experience safely transporting children to and from public schools
