Production Operator

We are currently hiring for Production Operators in the Berryville,VA area! You’ll operate and maintain casemaking equipment to produce high-quality hardcover book cases while ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Openings on multiple shifts (2-2-3 days, 2-2-3 nights, 2nd shift and 3rd shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to read a ruler and take precise measurements is required! Ruler Test will be conducted during interview!
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the Sheridan Casemaker to meet work order and quality specifications
• Prepare and assemble materials, monitor glue levels, and feed raw materials efficiently
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct case size, alignment, and appearance
• Accurately read rulers and measurement tools; perform basic math (fractions/decimals) for setup and verification
• Record production counts, complete logbooks and skid tickets, and communicate material needs with forklift operators
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; perform routine cleaning and lubrication
• Follow ISO, JWI, SOP, and safety standards at all times
• Perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement efforts

This is a Contract position based out of Berryville, VA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr.
