Floating Bank Teller

TEKsystems is currently searching for professional candidates interested in a Floating Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Credit Union!

Main Location: Stafford, VA 22556

Other locations: Will float to branches between Lee Ground, Montclair, and Woodbridge

Job Description:

• To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.
• To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions

Experience:

• 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, customer service
• Cash handling experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Full-time/ 40 hours per week
• MUST be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:30pm
• Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

This is a Contract position based out of Stafford, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.28/hr.
