Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Blow Mold Maintenance Mechanic 2nd

Shift , where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This role offers competitive pay starting at $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skills and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and $1.00 shift differential for 2nd

shift hours worked. This position is for 2nd

shift (4:00pm-2:30am, Monday – Friday with overtime on weekends as needed.)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operates machinery that blow molds containers of various sizes and colors.

• Monitors the quality of bottles and ensures they meet quality control standards and specifications.

• Suggests changes in working methods and use of equipment to increase the department’s efficiency.

• Notifies supervisors of any manufacturing problems, as well as analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner.

• Maintains and enforces all safety rules and regulations and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas.

• Maintaining blow molding machines, chillers, air compressors, grinders, blenders.

• Must be able to hang molds and set up to run.

• Fill in for operators on all shifts when needed.

• Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, problems

• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or (GED)

• Blow Mold Machine Maintenance preferred

• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance required

• Long periods of standing is a requirement of the position

• Lifting, twisting, carrying up to 60 lbs. is a requirement of the position

• Working in non-temperature and temperature-controlled environments

• Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location

• Be able to wear full face respirator as necessary

• Must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety GMP regulations.

• Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
