- Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours
We are working with an established food processing company based in **Harrisonburg, VA. **They are recruiting for multiple **Maintenance Electricians **to join their team during their 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of **$32 - $45 /hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PLC troubleshooting
- Electrical wiring, troubleshooting and Diagnostics
- Interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot and replace AC/DC motors 24v - 480v
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment and machinery including, Reiser equipment, Day Pack Machines, Cone Lines, Meyan, Whole Bird Bagging machines, VSP Machines, OSSID, Spiral Freezer, Cryovac.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
- Maintenance expertise in electrical functions of the equipment
- Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge

- Maintenance and Repair Skills
