Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk Virginia is currently hiring a CT Technologist to work a Full Time Swing shift (to bridge 1st shift and 2nd shift).

Hours

• Monday - Friday: 11am - 7:30pm

• Some flexibility with the hours might be considered but this position is to bridge first shift and second shift

Overview

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) under the direction of a qualified physician. Perform CT Technologist II responsibilities with addition of Cardiac CTA. Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology(Required)

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT or CNMT (Required)

• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire

• BLS

Experience

• 2 year of previous CT Tech experience (Required)
