• Unit: LAC Resource Team – Oncology (Non-Certified)
• Start Date: January 4, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 48
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680-$1800
• Employment Type: W2
• Float Requirement: No

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience; oncology nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting

Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a clinical hospital environment
• Monitor patient status, administer chemotherapy and other medications, and manage individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Offer emotional support, patient education, and advocacy for patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
