Concrete Finisher
Essel is hiring a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dedicated team! In this critical role, you will be responsible for the finishing of concrete surfaces to ensure durability and aesthetics for a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and work with concrete mixes to achieve specific requirements for different projects.
- Apply concrete finishes to surfaces including sidewalks, floors, walls, and curbs.
- Use various tools and equipment to shape, smooth, and polish the concrete surface.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure the concrete meets the necessary quality and specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of forms and shoring as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- TWIC Card needed.
- Strong knowledge of various concrete finishing techniques and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
