Plant & Turf Health Care Specialist
J&J Landscape Management is a trusted leader in delivering high-quality landscape services, dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. As a Plant & Turf Health Care Specialist, you will play an important role in protecting and enhancing the health, color, and overall appearance of our clients’ lawns and landscapes through expert plant and turf care, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control treatments in accordance with state regulations and company standards
- Diagnose plant and turf issues, including weeds, pests, and diseases, and recommend effective treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members to ensure excellent service
- Maintain accurate records of all applications and treatments performed
- Safely operate and maintain spray equipment, spreaders, and service vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid commercial pesticide applicator certification in Virginia
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant health care, lawn care or turf management
- Strong understanding of turfgrass health, weed identification, and pest management
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Clean driving record
