Who are you?

Security-cleared Professional: You have made it through the process of receiving a United States government security clearance - congratulations! We know you are a trustworthy intel professional because you have an either an active DOD Secret Security Clearance or a Top Secret Clearance.

Education is important to us: You have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field or HS Diploma with 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.

Experience is important to us:

• 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.

Desired Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD - Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration. Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments. A knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Certifications: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification is desired.

What you'll do:

This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of cloud-based infrastructure and services, with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Other responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies.
• Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment. Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Examine and identify efficiencies that can be made to existing procedures, with approval from the customer.
