Marketing Associate
Location: Centerville, VA (Candidates must reside within 20 miles or be willing to relocate independently)

About the Role

Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships and driving business growth? We're looking for a Marketing Associate to expand market share, develop lasting customer relationships, and support sales initiatives in the Centerville, VA area.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a customer base by nurturing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. You'll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and market success.

What You'll Do

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits, marketing support, and industry insights.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to meet sales and company growth goals.
Assist with pricing strategies and order guide creation.
Monitor and collect past-due balances as needed.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Work closely with the customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless service and support.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, restaurant management, or a related field.
Prior outside foodservice sales experience is a plus.
Experience as a restaurant manager or chef is highly preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Familiarity with warehouse distribution is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Decision-Making Responsibilities:
Assessing customer profitability.
Collaborating with leadership on customer pricing and credit decisions.
