Restaurant Server

We are looking for energetic, fun, customer service-oriented Servers for our casual bar/bistro Monza.

Specific Functions and Duties:

• Delivers food and drinks to guests using the team delivery system.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relays orders to the service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Observe guests and respond to any additional requests.
• Actively builds relationships with guests creating repeat customers.
• Presents guest check to each table and accepts a form of payment. Makes correct changes and/or completes the proper charge card procedure.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
• Wipe down table tops, and table legs, pick up debris off of the floor, and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Transports plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements :

• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Mobility is required during the entire shift.
• Must be able to walk and navigate stairs.
• Must be able to handle hot and cold environments.
• Must be available full-time with no restrictions.

Full-time available. Bartending experience is a plus because all positions are promoted from within. The possibility of cross-training from Monza's casual concept to Carmello's fine-dining concept if aptitude is shown.
