Data Engineer / Architect

Location: McLean, VA

Must have an active Secret Clearance

Tasks:
1. The subcontractor will leverage their expertise in data engineering, data science, and
database architecture to support and enhance SCREEn's data sets, structures, and
outcomes which are crucial for supply chain resiliency decision-making.
2. Maintain and improve existing data structures within Advana data infrastructure tools
(e.g., Databricks) ensuring seamless integration of new risk and component data sets into
a unified and useful framework. Use best practices to ensure high quality data and system
architecture and address data consistency issues.
3. Conduct technical development, documenting changes, presenting updates to
stakeholders, and adhering to security classification guidelines for data movement across
various information systems.
4. Support the development and optimization of automated processes for data ingestion,
integration, entity resolution, enhancing both the Supplier-Risk and Component-Supplier
data products, and predictive risk analysis.
5. Support automated and predictive risk analysis which may include applying AI/ML
concepts for supply chain risk, for products that support risk prioritization and supply
chain modeling.
6. Support data access through Advana APIs, and address any software inconsistencies
across classification levels in collaboration with LMI and the Advana development team.
o Deliverables: Provide material input and support to the following contract
deliverables:
1. Deliverable #5: Monthly Status Report (due monthly)
2. Deliverable #6: Component-Supplier Data Product Description Document
(due 60 calendar days after overall SCREEn award)
3. Deliverable #7: Supplier-Risk Data Product Description Document (due
60 calendar days after overall SCREEn award)
