Behavior Technician II / QMHP-T

We are seeking a passionate Behavior Technician II to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in our Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) located in Staunton, VA.

Schedule Option:
Monday - Friday and every other weekend, 3pm-11pm
Your Role in Our Mission
As a Behavior Technician II (BT II) , your days will be filled with life-changing work! You will be equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis. Some of your key duties will include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home. Additionally, you will maintain daily documentation and reporting in our electronic health system of record.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 / hr for this full time position.
- Paid training: CPR / first-aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, Seizure Management, and QMHP-T supervision!

What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field of study, or QMHP (trainee), or
- The ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required.
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
