Cleared Cloud Software Developer TS/SCI - (Sterling, VA)

Ampsight is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Developer to join our high-performing team supporting federal government clients. This role combines cloud infrastructure expertise with full-stack development capabilities to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and mission-critical applications. You’ll work across diverse technologies including AWS, Python, React, Svelte, Flask, FastAPI, Django, Terraform, Ansible, and containerized environments, collaborating with engineers, architects, and data scientists to deliver impactful solutions in support of national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and deploy secure cloud-based applications primarily using AWS services.

· Build and maintain frontend and backend components of scalable web applications.

· Develop clean, maintainable code using languages such as Python, JavaScript.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architecture.

· Integrate and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and scripting (e.g., Bash).

· Familiarity with APIs and web services, building RESTful services using FastAPI, GraphQL or similar technologies.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize cloud and application performance.

· Document system configurations, code, and deployment procedures to ensure maintainability and transparency.

· Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud computing and software engineering.

· Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CDK.

Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or DevOps.

· Active TS/SCI clearance.

· Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript.

· Hands-on experience with Flask, Django, FastAPi, or similar backend frameworks.

· Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Svelte, Angular, Vue, and TypeScript.

• Willing to work on a hybrid model
