Handyman
DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a versatile and skilled Handyman to join our team. As a family-owned staffing company, we take pride in matching qualified candidates with reputable businesses. In this role, you will perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for our clients, ensuring their properties are well-maintained and functional.
As a Handyman, you will be responsible for handling both small repairs and larger maintenance projects, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for residents and clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general household systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repairs, and flooring work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or property managers.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and supplies used.
- Assist with project management tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
