Enterprise Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. You will define and own the technical vision for mobile applications across iOS and Android, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Enterprise Architect job responsibilities include:

• Define and document mobile architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for iOS and Android platforms.

• Lead the design and development of hybrid and native mobile applications ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.

• Work hands-on in coding and troubleshooting complex issues using Ionic Capacitor, Cordova, Swift, and Java.

• Design integrations with backend services, APIs, and third-party SDKs to enable seamless functionality.

• Ensure compliance with mobile security standards (e.g., OWASP Mobile Top 10) and optimize app performance for speed and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 8+ years in mobile application development with at least 4+ years in mobile architecture and leadership roles.

• Proven expertise in Ionic Capacitor and Cordova for hybrid apps, and strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Java (Android) for native development.

• Deep understanding of MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL integrations.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
