Software Engineer II
FTE only, No C2C
Location: 4 days/week onsite in Merrifield, VA – Mosaic District

ASCENDING Inc, is an Advanced AWS partner specializing in a variety of services and solutions surrounding Cloud Migrations, custom web app development, data analytics/big data and DevOps. We are currently looking for an Software Engineer II to join our consulting services group.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ to 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering role working with any of the following languages; Python, Java and/or NodeJS . The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to learn and work with a variety of languages that depend on the particular client engagement. Heavy AWS experience will also be necessary for this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Experience in OOP with Python, Java and/or NodeJS
  • Have Experience on setting up End to End Infrastructure on AWS .
  • Have DevOp or micro Services on AWS is a big Plus!
  • Heavy AWS experience(Certification Preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
