Certified Program Facilitator – Alternative Paths Training School (Virginia)
Spur, a digital staffing agency , seeks a dedicated and punctual Certified Program Facilitator for Alternative Paths Training School .
Position OverviewThe Certified Program Facilitator is responsible for implementing individualized applied behavior programming , including direct 1:1 treatment for students. The ideal candidate has strong behavioral intervention skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping students succeed in a structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consistent supervision of students during designated hours.
- Apply core Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles , including reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
- Teach social and daily living skills to enhance student independence.
- Respond effectively to complex or disruptive behaviors while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Foster a fun and motivating atmosphere to encourage student engagement and progress.
- Collect and input data on student progress using an online tracking system.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and caregivers to ensure program consistency across different settings.
- Implement personalized learning and behavior intervention plans developed by the program team.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Virginia FBI Background Check
- Virginia National Criminal Record Request Form
- Drug Screening
- Completion of a 3-5 day paid Training Boot Camp
- Must comply with Alternative Paths Training School Overtime Policy
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (when school is in session; hours may vary by location)
