- Bring consistency by executing menus in collaboration with the Director
- Co-manage kitchen operations including ordering, budgeting, and inventory
- Support school culture by preparing meals for special events as needed
- Current Serve Safe Certificate
- 3 to 5 years of experience in food preparation and kitchen management (preschool or similar environment preferred)
- Knowledge of Virginia licensing regulations
- Proven track record of managing food service operations while ensuring full adherence to Virginia Health Department regulations
- Strong inventory management and budgeting skills
- Understanding of child safety and choking hazard prevention
- Experience supervising or leading kitchen teams
- Schedule: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (with potential full-time responsibilities depending on qualifications and ability to support classrooms)
