Brief Role Description

The Financial Analyst will support senior leadership to define, implement and manage key P&L initiatives at Electrify America.

This role involves conducting in depth analysis of various internal data sources, identifying improvement levers regarding data flows, creating transparency within senior leadership team, preparing decisions for optimizations and tracking implementation.

Key responsibility is to refine process and design of the site focused P&L, collaborating with and communicate to stakeholders across Electrify America. The candidate will also develop data tracking for continuous performance monitoring.

This role is designed to require broad collaboration across multi-functional teams within Electrify America and the VW Group structure (VW NAR, VWGoA, VW AG).

Possible Tasks within this Role

Strengthen site focused P&L and preparing actionable decisions (75%)

• Refine and establish process for site focused P&L at Electrify America, working cross functional with various stakeholders within EA to ensure an aligned and seamless flow of data and information
• Ensure consistency in data and systems with regards to key P&L metrics, building on an in-depth analysis of sources, creating a companywide understanding of underlying data and facilitate decisions for continuous refinement
• Iterate and refine Electrify America’s mid- and long-term financial model to maximize transparency on underlying business rationale
• Refine Cohorts and analysis framework to guide attention of senior leadership towards key underlying developments
• Analyze financial data and translate numerical insights into clear messages and actionable recommendations

Support key strategic initiatives (25%)

• Support strategic initiatives for Electrify America, engaging with business units, ensuring that insights translate into impact by working with ad-hoc cross functional implementation teams. Define how business performance will impact on specific business units’ day-to-day processes.
• Monitor and evaluate progress of strategic initiatives. Support meetings for the purpose of reviewing implementation accomplishments and shortfalls with each business unit and report results to leadership.
• Support Senior Leadership team in preparation and refinement of key communication materials and Board of Director Presentations, building on both individual analysis and existing financial resources
