We’re seeking an Information Security Analyst I to join our growing team and help strengthen the security and resilience of our cloud platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career security professional who’s passionate about cloud technology, cybersecurity best practices, and continuous learning.
As an Information Security Analyst I, you’ll support the ongoing protection and compliance of KlariVis’ cloud environments and systems. Working closely with the VP of Information Security & Technology and other internal teams, you’ll:
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor alerts and security events across cloud and endpoint systems to detect threats and anomalies.
- Assist with incident triage, documentation, and escalation in accordance with defined procedures.
- Contribute to post-incident analysis, documentation, and lessons learned.
Tool Administration & Configuration
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of security tools across cloud and endpoint environments.
- Help ensure logs are collected and correlated for visibility and compliance.
- Participate in reviews of security tool performance and assist with new integrations.
Vulnerability & Risk Management
- Conduct vulnerability scans and assist in tracking remediation.
- Review internal and external assessment findings, coordinating with engineering teams for resolution.
- Maintain awareness of emerging vulnerabilities impacting KlariVis systems.
Secure Development & Threat Modeling
- Participate in threat modeling sessions for new features or architecture changes.
- Support developers and DevOps engineers with secure coding and deployment best practices.
- Help maintain secure configuration baselines across environments.
Governance, Risk, & Compliance
- Assist with evidence gathering for audits and frameworks such as SOC 2.
- Support asset inventories, access reviews, and policy compliance checks.
- Contribute to internal security awareness initiatives and training.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to align security goals.
- Share insights on emerging threats, tools, and best practices.
- Suggest and help implement improvements to monitoring, automation, and workflows.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles — authentication, authorization, encryption, and incident response.
- Exposure to cloud security concepts, ideally in Microsoft Azure (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID/Azure AD, network protections).
- Experience supporting security tools such as EDR, log aggregators, or vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with secure development or DevSecOps practices (code scanning, dependency management, secrets handling).
- Awareness of threat modeling and vulnerability assessment techniques.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
