Position: Title Curative Associate - Fully Remote
Assignment: ASAP Start - 3/9/2025 (Temp to Perm)
Location: Fully Remote - Open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.
Schedule: Must be able to work CST hours 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $21.00 hourly paid weekly. (Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)
Overview:
Were seeking an experienced Curative Associate with mid-level curative and real property/title experience. This role is fully remote and requires strong technical knowledge of title review issue resolution and multi-state underwriting guidelines.
Youll be responsible for reviewing abstracted title examinations identifying curative issues and taking the necessary steps to clear conditions so that title insurance can be issued. Strong research skills and the ability to collaborate with lenders creditors and third parties are essential.
Experience with Texas (TDI) Florida and Georgia title processes is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review title abstracts for liens encumbrances judgments vesting deed preparation legal descriptions and other title-related issues.
- Evaluate payoff statements property taxes and voluntary/involuntary lien requirements.
- Take appropriate action to clear title defects using underwriting guidelines across all 50 states.
- Communicate directly with lenders creditors third parties and other title agencies to resolve curative matters.
- Manage a pipeline of orders and ensure title is cleared within established SLAs.
- Collaborate with counties and outside partners as needed to gather information or resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate updates and requests through the internal integration system or email.
- Conduct in-depth research to support curative decisions and document findings.

- Highly organized and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
- Experience using title/curative operating systems or client platforms.
Education:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum requirement High school diploma.
Working Conditions:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
