Nights and Weekends Teacher

Summary

Brilliant Beginnings Learning Center is looking for qualified, energetic, and fun individuals to implement a Christian-based learning curriculum to our brilliant students, aged 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Applicants must be friendly, able to interact well with children
as well as providing great customer service to parents. Applicants must be highly
stable and dependable individuals interested in making an impact on our future.


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

To be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements listed below:

• Must have experience working with children,
• Can successfully complete a Virginia State Background Check
• Would be will to take a PPD screening.
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• A genuine love / interest in children's total development 

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 0-6 months of professional child care experience.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
