Software Engineer (TS/SCI Required with consent to obtain CI)

North Point Technology is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to support mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, cleared development environment!This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful software solutions within a secure infrastructure, contributing to both backend services and user-facing applications using modern development tools and agile practices.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Design, develop, and maintain software applications using object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or C++



• 
  

  Collaborate with team members to define and implement technical solutions aligned with mission needs



• 
  

  Contribute to full-stack development efforts, including potential work with SQL databases and React-based user interfaces



• 
  

  Participate in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, peer reviews, and retrospectives



• 
  

  Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with government security standards

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain a Polygraph



• 
  

  Current and customer-approved security certification: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP



• 
  

  Familiarity with one or more object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, or C++)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  

  Experience with SQL and relational databases



• 
  

  Familiarity with front-end development using React



• 
  

  Prior work in an Agile environment

Clearance: TS/SCI with consent to obtain Poly (required)
Certifications: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP (must be current and customer-approved)
