Industrial Painter Blaster!
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Painter Blaster to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying coatings to various industrial equipment and structures. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Apply paint, primers, and coatings using spray guns and other equipment.
- Operate blasting equipment to remove old paint and contaminants from surfaces.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Inspect finished work for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in the painting and blasting process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting and blasting is a plus.
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or blaster.
- Proven experience painting concrete structures or metal structures
- Proven experience blasting metal or concrete buildings.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial painting.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required.
