About the Role Infinitive is seeking a dynamic Solution Architect with a strong blend of technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and business acumen to lead pre-sales and solutioning efforts across our Data & AI practice. This role bridges the gap between business development and delivery — helping clients envision how modern data architectures, AI-driven platforms, and cloud-native integration frameworks can drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with sales and account teams to shape opportunities, design solutions, and ensure seamless alignment between pre-sales commitments and project delivery.Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Solutioning & Client Engagement
- Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities, define solution architectures, and develop compelling proposals for consulting engagements.
- Lead discovery sessions, assess client environments, and translate business needs into actionable Data & AI solution architectures and roadmaps.
- Deliver presentations, demos, and proofs of concept (POCs) that demonstrate Infinitive’s Data & AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing models, statements of work (SOWs), and technical content for RFP responses
- Support the development, scoping, and sale of both Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Time & Material (T&M) consulting engagements.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives, influencing data, AI, and technology strategy.
Architecture & Design Leadership
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based Data & AI solutions in Azure, AWS and GCP utilizing Databricks, streaming and batch data pipelines, Spark, PySpark, Python and API frameworks, with a heavy emphasis on modernizing data engineering practices to enable analytical and machine learning usages.
- Design architectures spanning data lakehouses, warehouses, real-time analytics, and AI/ML integration.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise standards, data governance policies, and delivery capabilities.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a technical bridge between sales, delivery, and client architecture teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Support go-to-market strategy development by identifying repeatable Data & AI solution patterns and reusable delivery assets.
- Mentor and guide engineers and consultants on best practices for solution design, client engagement, and value articulation.
Innovation & Market Development
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, streaming analytics, data mesh, etc.) to evolve Infinitive’s Data & AI offerings.
- Contribute thought leadership, case studies, and webinars to reinforce Infinitive’s market credibility.
- Stay current on trends in data platforms, data engineering, zero-trust security, data governance, and AI ethics and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of combined experience in data architecture, AI/ML solutioning, system integration, or solution engineering roles.
- Proven experience selling or supporting the sale of consulting and professional services, including scoping, estimating, and solution shaping.
- Demonstrated success supporting pre-sales or technical sales cycles in a consulting, SaaS, or enterprise technology environment.
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Databricks, data modeling, Kafka, Spark, Python, SQL/NoSQL, and API-based integration.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, data governance, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional.
- Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional.
- TOGAF, ITIL, or SAFe Architect certification.
- Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering Accreditation (e.g., AWS Partner Ambassador, Google Cloud Sales Engineer, Databricks Sales Badges).

- Ability to articulate business value and ROI for Data & AI consulting solutions.
- Strong collaboration and influence across sales, delivery, and executive stakeholders.
