Field Service Coordinator
Seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Service Coordinator to bridge the gap between clients and field operations. In this role, you will be the engine of the service department, managing everything from scheduling technicians and contractors to overseeing fleet logistics and material inventory. education: High School responsibilities:
- Coordinate field operations by scheduling and directing technicians and contractors to address service requests and warranty claims
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer service issues, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally
- Manage materials and logistics, including ordering, shipping, and maintaining inventory for field service stock, tools, and equipment
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, such as job records, material lists, statistical reports, and monthly status spreadsheets
- Analyze technical documents, including engineering drawings, control prints, and material lists, to support field assembly and system upgrades
- Draft detailed work instructions and statements of work to guide field personnel in the execution of their tasks
- Oversee fleet and equipment maintenance, ensuring trucks and trailers are serviced and that all registrations, insurance, and fuel cards are up to date
- Monitor safety compliance by keeping track of required safety equipment and ensuring all field work meets established safety standards
