Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) and SAP Enterprise
Portal Migration Amin SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience
managing SAP middleware and portal technologies, ensuring seamless system integration, administration,
performance, and availability across landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
 SAP PI/PO Administration:
o Install, configure, upgrade, and migration of SAP PI/PO systems.
o Manage Integration Directory, ESR objects, and monitor message flows.
o Perform transports, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for interfaces.
o Manage connectivity with SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., SFTP, REST, SOAP, JDBC, IDoc,
RFC).
o Configure and monitor Adapter Engine, AEX, NW BPM, and BRM.
o Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of PI/PO systems.
 SAP Portal Administration:
o Install, configure, maintain, and migration of SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) environments.
o Perform role and content administration, including user access, UME, and integration with backend
systems (ECC, S/4, BW).
o Manage portal components, system objects, iViews, and work sets.
o Monitor system performance, apply patches, and troubleshoot portal runtime issues.
o Configure Single Sign-On (SSO), LDAP, and secure authentication mechanisms.
 System Maintenance & Security:
o Apply SAP Notes, kernel upgrades, support packs, and security patches.
o Implement system monitoring, alerting, and health checks (Solution Manager/3rd-party).
o Manage, Export, and Import SSL certificates and secure communications for interfaces and portal.
 Collaboration & Documentation:
o Work closely with SAP Basis, Security, and Development teams.
o Document technical procedures, configurations, and standard operating processes.
o Provide SME-level input during architecture discussions and migration projects (e.g., cloud moves
to AWS/Azure/SAP BTP).

Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
 8+ years of experience as SAP PI/PO Administrator, with strong expertise in adapters, integration
monitoring, and troubleshooting.
 5+ years of SAP Portal administration experience with content and role management.
 Strong understanding of NetWeaver Java stack administration.
 Hands-on experience with SSL, SSO, LDAP integration, and UME.
 Solid experience in system performance tuning and capacity management.
 Strong knowledge of SAP transport management and change control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
 Experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and transition/migration from PI/PO.
 Familiarity with Fiori Launchpad integration via SAP Portal.
 Experience with Solution Manager, monitoring tools, and alerting frameworks.
 Cloud experience (AWS) for PI/PO and Portal migration projects.

 Knowledge of DoD/NS2 security and compliance standards (FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, STIGs), if applicable.
