Legal Secretary - Tax/Trusts & Estates
Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Legal Assistant for Tax and Trusts & Estates in Winchester, VA!
An established firm based in Winchester with over 40 years in practice is seeking a Legal Assistant with three or more years of experience to join their team onsite. This Legal Assistant will have experience supporting Tax and Trusts & Estates matters , ensuring organized workflow, accurate drafting, and exceptional administrative support for attorneys handling estate planning, trust administration, and tax-related work.
Offer :
Salary range: $60,000-$75,000+, contingent on experience

Standard schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with one-hour lunch

37.5-hour workweek
Qualifications :
3 or more years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or related legal setting
Strong writing abilities and the ability to prepare polished, accurate documents
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Word
Experience supporting matters related to tax, estate planning, or trust administration is preferred
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, internal staff, and external agencies
Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in the Tax and Trusts & Estates practice
Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, memoranda, estate planning documents, and related materials
Organize and maintain physical and digital files for estate, trust, and tax matters
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, client meetings, and scheduling needs
Assist with drafting, research, and document preparation for estate planning and administration
Coordinate communication among clients, courts, agencies, and internal parties
