Cybersecurity Specialist Advanced
- Help shape and maintain a secure cyber environment by applying cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices across enclave systems and operations.
- Support the security and performance of mission-critical systems through hands-on monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and resolution of hardware and software IA issues.
- Drive cybersecurity initiatives by leveraging technical expertise and sound judgment to identify risks, recommend solutions, and accomplish enclave security objectives.
- Serve as a technical leader and trusted resource to junior team members by providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship in a collaborative environment.
- Partner directly with government and internal stakeholders—both remotely and onsite—to deliver assessments, provide strategic recommendations, and support evolving mission needs.
- Some travel is expected for this position.

- Master’s degree in a STEM and/or Cyber-related field or equivalent from an accredited institution and five (5) years of Cyber technical experience.
- Acceptable alternative: Bachelor's degree in a STEM and/or Cyber-related field with eight (8) years of DoD cyber technical experience and knowledge demonstrated in missile defense related or other complex, large DoD Programs/Projects.
- Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification requirements in order to be considered.
- Acceptable certifications include but are not limited to: CASP+ (SecurityX), CCNP, CISA, and CISSP.
- An Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- Possess, or be able to obtain, a technical certification or three (3) years’ experience with McAfee Endpoint Security, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Splunk, and/or implementing network, enclave, or system security toolsets, including reviewing technical assessment reports and prioritizing corrective actions.
- If not already certified, required tool certification(s) must be obtained within six (6) months of position acceptance.
- Experience in technical review / management / assessment of Software, Cloud, Firewalls, Network Defense, Ports, Protocols, and Services Management, and / or DevSecOps.
- Prior experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is highly desired.
- Proven ability to work independently to solve problems quickly and completely.
