What Your Practice Will Look Like You’ll enjoy a predominantly outpatient-focused practice with inpatient consultative support in a well-resourced children’s hospital. Your role includes:

• Outpatient pediatric neurology clinics
• Inpatient consultative services
• Shared call with primarily remote evening/weekend consultative coverage
• Opportunities to teach medical students and residents
• Participation in multidisciplinary pediatric care teams

You’ll be supported by:

• Pediatric hospitalists and intensivists managing primary inpatient care
• Dedicated inpatient EEG technicians
• On-site EEG and video EEG monitoring
• Pediatric neurosurgery collaboration
• Strong ancillary and pediatric specialty support

You’ll serve a large and growing pediatric population of more than 300,000 children across western Virginia. About Carilion Children’s Hospital Carilion Children’s is the leading pediatric referral center for western Virginia and surrounding regions, providing advanced care in a family-centered environment. • Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
• Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
• 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursery
• 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• 24-bed pediatric inpatient unit
