ER RN Job Details – Norfolk, VA

• Location: Norfolk, VA 23507 – Experience the best of Virginia healthcare jobs in a historic city with beautiful waterfronts, arts, and beaches.
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 - $2070
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend for ongoing travel nurse opportunities)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts (starting at 3:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state eligible
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to provide two recent employment verifications or professional references
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Respond rapidly and effectively to trauma and critical care situations
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient care activities in EPIC EMR
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and staff
