Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

The Norfolk Healthcare Consortium is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Analyst I to support the HRIS Administrator/Budget Analyst within the HR Benefits Department. This role plays an essential part in financial processing, benefits administration support, data analysis, and vendor invoice reconciliation

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support informed decision-making.
• Assist with maintaining and updating benefit plans within enrollment systems.
• Calculating and test benefit deductions.
• Support budget preparation tasks and perform accounting functions within the AFMS system.
• Manage vendor contracts and monitor expenses, projects, and accounts.
• Provide daily administrative and analytical support to the HRIS Administrator/Budget Analyst.

Required Education & Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent in a professional or technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
• Accounting
• Data analysis
• Benefits enrollment administration
• or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Skilled in data analysis, research, investigation, and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness in completing assignments.
• Experience with AFMS or similar accounting software
• Strong understanding of financial transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint , and familiarity with Power BI .
