Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst

MARKETview Education Partners is seeking a thoughtful, curious, and collaborative BI Developer/Analyst to help transform data into meaningful insight for our college and university partners. This role is a chance to contribute to a fast-growing, early-stage education technology company, working alongside a supportive team of experienced professionals who are committed to using data to improve educational outcomes. 

As an integral member of the product and analytics teams, you will help translate user needs into clear, practical data solutions. You'll explore datasets, build informative visualizations, and contribute to the development of tools and products that empower our institutional partners to make smarter, more timely decisions. 

Responsibilities:

• Listen closely to end-user needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. 

• Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and related data assets. 

• Explore and analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities across institutions. 

• Help ensure data quality, accuracy, and security through modern BI best practices. 

• Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying opportunities for new analytics features and improvements. 

• Create intuitive data visualizations that support storytelling and decision-making. 

• Continue developing your analytical and visualization abilities in ways that advance our mission to improve educational access and outcomes. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in a data-related field (e.g., statistics, math, computer science), or equivalent hands-on experience. 

• Experience with Power BI and other modern data visualization tools. 

• Strong quantitative skills and comfort with statistical concepts. 

• Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and working with both structured and unstructured data. 

• Proficiency with SQL and back-end database programming. 

• Ability to translate data findings into clear, meaningful insights for non-technical audiences. 

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a habit of asking thoughtful questions.
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting teams that rely on data for decision-making. 

• Familiarity with higher education or mission-driven organizations. 

• Working with large datasets or cloud-based data environments. 

• Experience with CRM platforms, advanced analytics tools, or web-based collaboration systems 

• Comfort crafting data narratives that help guide stakeholders toward action.
