Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Virginia
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field

• Familiarity with special education processes, IEPs, and relevant legal guidelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to help inform educational planning
• Develop and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, including eligibility and IEP discussions
• Offer short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation to support students’ emotional and behavioral health
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote safe, positive learning environments
• Serve as a resource to parents and guardians, guiding them through processes and offering support
