Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (ET), Overtime & On-Call as Needed

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Research Technician I participates in the planning, executing, documenting, and reporting of research, product development andvalidation efforts. Performs testing of cell or tissue samples. Activities may include production and qualitycontrol of research grade products and medical prototypes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Follows protocols and tissue work orders as outlined in working instructions andproduct/prototype procedural specifications including new graft and equipment development, aswell as product development, manufacturing, and validation initiatives in compliance with LifeNetpolicy, LifeNet procedures and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Collects experimental data and assembles experimental and production documents in support ofraw data analysis.
- Maintains research workstations, laboratories, designated research production spaces, as wellas tissue processing suite and its equipment.
- Assists in developing protocols and experimental designs required to support assigned research,to include new graft and equipment development, as well as product development,manufacturing, and validation initiatives.
- Reviews and maintains team-specific research and the processing of consumable inventoriesaccording to established procedures. All other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- One year of hands- on laboratory experience with tissue processing, molecular or cell experience

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word,Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Project.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple,competing priorities and managetime/workload. Demonstratedability to effectively prioritize andjuggle multiple time sensitiveprojects, multi-task, identifyproject interdependencies andpotential risks/pitfalls.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills; ability tocommunicate and buildrelationships with allprofessionals at different levelswithin the organization.
- Attention to Detail:Ability to perform tasks thoroughlyand with care; checks work toensure high degree ofaccuracy/completeness andearly/on-time delivery.
- Teamwork:Ability to work collaboratively withteam members within andacross departments.
- Scientific Knowledge:A knowledge of anatomy as wellas cellular biology. Basicunderstanding of chemistry toinclude chemical interactionsand being able to usemathematic formulas to makedifferent concentrations ofchemicals.
- Laboratory Skills: Familiarity with industrialdocumentation and regulatoryprocesses and basic laboratoryskills.

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $20.36 - $27.15 hourly
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $20.36hourly (entry level qualifications) to $27.15hourly(experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
