Endoscopy RN Job Details

• Location: Salem, VA 24153 – Experience the charm of Virginia healthcare jobs in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, with excellent amenities and outdoor recreation.
• Healthcare Setting: Main Hospital, Endoscopy Unit (2nd Floor)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: August 18, 2025 – End: November 17, 2025)
• Nursing Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1820 - $1870
• On-call: Weekday and weekend call required for all RN staff

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Virginia or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all travel nursing jobs)
• PACU or ICU experience preferred for clinical support roles
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Quick learner, adaptable to frequent changes in clinical settings

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Admit patients, circulate and scrub in endoscopy procedures, recover and discharge patients
• Assist with procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy
• Utilize Olympus scopes and Provation procedural documentation systems
• Document patient care in Meditech EMR for clinical accuracy
• Maintain hospital-issued surgical attire and comply with dress code policies
• Participate in on-call rotation (weekday and weekend) as part of the nursing team
