Costpoint Consultant
Position Title: General Ledger / Costpoint Specialist – Financial Data Mapping & Configuration
Location: Sterling, VA (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Assignment type: Contract (3 months, potential extension)
Compensation: $65 - $75 / Hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking two experienced General Ledger Specialists to support financial data mapping, system migration, and configuration tasks within a Costpoint and SAP environment. These roles will play an integral part in ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with federal government contracting standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the transfer of financial data from SAP into Costpoint.
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Configuring general ledger structures, budget controls, and workflows.
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports for compliance and management review.
- Ensuring compliance with DCAA, FAR, and CAS requirements.
- Creating custom reports using Costpoint Analytics and Report Builder.
- Monitoring data integrity, performing reconciliations, and supporting audits.
- Assisting with financial statement preparation and consolidation processes.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of general ledger or financial systems experience, strong knowledge of SAP and Costpoint, and a solid understanding of government contracting compliance. Candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
