Civil Engineer – Land Development (Northern Virginia)

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2–20 years of experience to join our growing land development team in Northern Virginia. This role involves working on a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare site design plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control
• Perform stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic calculations
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and local agencies
• Support permitting and regulatory approvals
• Review plans, specifications, and reports for quality and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–20 years of relevant land development experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of local regulations and design standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
