Enhance Geospatial Intelligence for Operational Superiority

As a GIS Software Developer supporting the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) in Quantico, VA, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing the development and delivery of mission-critical geospatial intelligence. Working at the core of the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE), you'll contribute to a high-impact program that supports national defense and operational readiness across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

In this role, you will design and build modern, user-focused geospatial applications and tools that improve how intelligence professionals access, visualize, and share geospatial data. Your responsibilities will include developing custom web services, Story Maps, and interactive applications using technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Image Server, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue.js. Your work will directly contribute to MCIA’s mission of delivering a secure, centralized platform for geospatial data discovery, sharing, and collaboration across multiple classified networks. You will also support the continued expansion of MCIA’s online geospatial portal by contributing to product development, metadata integration, user support, and training, helping ensure it effectively meets the evolving needs of military and intelligence users. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that values innovation, adaptability, and the ability to transform complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

If you’re looking for a role where your development skills directly contribute to operational effectiveness and national security, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Apply today by sending your resume to Antoine Thomas: [email protected] .

** Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
