You will build complex systems from blueprints and technical drawings, perform electrical wiring and functional testing, and ensure each unit meets strict quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a growing, startup-style production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies for UAVs in accordance with blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
  • Perform electrical wiring and integration of components, ensuring proper connections and system functionality.
  • Conduct testing of assembled products to verify performance, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately, safely, and efficiently.
  • Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects, irregularities, or nonconformities, and ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and team members to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly issues and to support continuous process improvement.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Document assembly procedures, modifications, test results, and quality checks to maintain accurate and traceable records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety protocols, work instructions, and company guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities, such as supporting quality assurance activities, to broaden skills and support production needs.
  • Support high delivery goals by meeting production schedules and proactively communicating any issues that may impact timelines.
Essential Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work hands-on with small and large components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and relevant testing equipment in a production or assembly environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints, including virtual blueprints and digital drawings.
  • Basic computer proficiency to access and pull drawings, enter data, and complete documentation accurately.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and contribute positively to a collaborative culture.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical certifications or relevant vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly, electronics, or a related field are preferred.
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly environments, particularly building complex products or systems.
  • Experience using virtual blueprint or drawing tools and other computer-based documentation systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10%–15% of the time, including a two-week training period in Israel.
  • Possession of a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one.
  • Comfort working in a startup-style environment with evolving processes, high delivery goals, and a need for flexibility and initiative.
  • Interest in cross-training into related areas such as quality assurance.
Why Work Here?

You will join a fast-growing, startup-style operation at a pivotal time, with the opportunity to help build and shape the production environment from the ground up. The organization emphasizes work-life balance, driven by leadership that values sustainable workloads and a healthy culture. Teamwork and cultural fit are highly important, and you will work alongside colleagues who are committed to collaboration and continuous improvement. As the facility grows and headcount expands over the coming years, you will have meaningful opportunities for advancement, including cross-training into areas such as quality assurance and broader responsibilities within the operation.

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse and production environment with dedicated assembly workstations and clearly defined processes. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work pattern. The environment involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and computer systems to access virtual blueprints and record data.
